RE: @Plinkyprompts

For many of us the seasons are changing, bouncing unpredictably between cold and warm. Are you glad to be moving into a new season, or wishing for one more week of the old?

Totally. This climate I expected to be less sunny and mild than it has been. I remember fall and winter time being bitter cold and a time when hardly anyone wanted to be outdoors.
Moving into a new season is great. Winter months give people the chance to sleep, eat and read books. On the rare occasions outdoor activity take place in the slumber of winter time, marshmallows, hot cocoa and camp fire is likely involved.

Early summer months, when the city swimming pools open, fireworks and picnic table and patio furniture hit the shelves of stores are like the best present. Letting everyone know its going to be all things outdoors for the several evenings to follow.

The unpredictability of temps and conditions when the seasons are changing can be stressful. Figuring out how many layers to wear. What to do without rain gear when that sudden downpour finally happens. Avoiding the outdoors all together but instantly cheerful when a hint of sunlight glances in through a grey sky.
